This project reflects on how art, much like moments in life, is often overlooked in our busy, distracted world. By showing the paintings coming alive only when unobserved, I wanted to emphasize how easily we miss the depth and vitality in things we pass by.
The GIFs serve as a reminder that art holds layers of meaning and emotion, waiting to be discovered by those who pause and look closer.
This concept underscores the importance of mindful observation, suggesting that when we truly engage with art, or any experience, we unlock a world of stories that would otherwise remain hidden.
In this GIF series, I explore the unseen vibrancy within art, transforming static images into dynamic, animated experiences.
Each GIF features a subject seemingly unaware of the paintings around them; as they look away, the paintings begin to move and come alive, suggesting hidden stories waiting to be discovered.
This subtle animation invites viewers to engage more deeply, capturing the mystery and emotion that lie just beneath the surface and encouraging a fresh, immersive way to experience visual art.
